Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to use a LED light to cure the nail?

Yes, you need to cure the nail strips with a LED lamp to finish your manicure or pedicure.

The nail strips come semi-cured, which means they are only 60% hardened. This allows you to stretch and adjust them to fit your nail shape. However, without curing, they can smudge or move around.

We suggest curing your strips under a LED lamp for 1-2 sessions to fully harden the gel and secure the strips to your nails.

The FDA views nail curing lamps as low risk when used as directed. Industry insiders and research have also supported the notion that UV nail lamps are safe when used properly.

Because the nail strips are already 60% hardened the exposure is much less than what you would experience at a nail salon.

Please note: The nail strips are sensitive to light, so keep your LED lamp away from any unused strips.

I only see one size? How do I know that it will fit my nail size?

Each kit comes with 20 nail strips across 10 different sizes.

To find the right size for your nails:

  • Place your nail next to the strip sheet to compare the width of your cuticle and nail bed to the sizes provided.

Don't worry if the strip isn't a perfect match for your nail:

  • The semi-cured gel strips are flexible; you can stretch them to better fit your nails. If unsure, choose a strip slightly smaller than your nail and stretch it to fit.

Preparation tip:

  • Before applying any strip, clean your nail with a prep pad to remove any oil or moisture. This helps the nail strip adhere more effectively.

Is it safe for pregnant women or children to use?

Our semi-cure gel nail strips are designed with safety in mind and have undergone testing to ensure they are safe for use.
However, we advise against children using these products due to the risk of them biting their nails.

For pregnant women, while our products are generally considered safe, it's always best to consult with your doctor before use.

How do I remove my gel nail strips?

Your kit includes a wooden cuticle stick for removal. Here's how to use it:

  1. Soak the Stick: Dip the wooden stick into your nail polish remover.
  2. Lift the Strip: Gently push the soaked stick under the edge of the nail strip.
  3. Peel Gently: Nudge the strip in the direction of your cuticle to reduce the risk of damaging your natural nail. Continue pushing until the strip lifts and comes off completely.
